# Frequently Asked Questions

## Why Does an Account Balance Differ from the Total at the Top?

An account row shows its original-currency balance. The total at the top converts amounts to the statistics currency and applies filters.

| **Book filter** | The total includes only the currently selected books |
| **Account groups and parent-child accounts** | Child accounts are converted to the main account's currency before totaling |
| **Statistics exclusion** | An excluded account is not included in the total |

Future records are not included in the current balance or top total on Assets. They begin to affect balances when their scheduled time arrives.

## Why Has a Change Not Appeared on My Other Device?

Check the Apple ID, iCloud Drive, Daak 2's iCloud permission, and network status. For shared content, also confirm that the invitation was accepted. Then open Daak 2 on both devices and allow time for sync.

## Why Can I Not Edit or Delete a Record?

It may belong to Savings, Installments, Fixed Deposits, or another feature, or it may be restricted by sharing permissions. Open its details and continue through the linked feature.

## Why Is a Market Price Not from Today?

Stock prices can be affected by market holidays, closing-data publication times, server queues, or data-provider issues. A cryptocurrency may also temporarily show the previous price after a network failure. One failed update never clears a saved price.

## Why Do Statistics Still Include an Archived Item?

{% hint style="info" %}
Archiving hides an entry point but does not delete history. This keeps past asset and income or expense statistics complete.
{% endhint %}

## Why Did the Number of Imported Rows Change?

Rows with invalid dates, amounts, types, or unmatched required items are skipped. Review the import result and test field mappings with a small sample first.
