# Shopping List

## Add an Item

1. Open **Shopping List** and tap **+** at the top right.
2. Enter the item name, estimated amount, and any details you need.
3. After saving, the item appears in the pending list without affecting account balances.

## Complete a Purchase

1. Tap an item in the list.
2. Choose the purchase or payment action.
3. Confirm the actual amount, book, paying account, category, and date.
4. Saving creates an expense and updates the item status.

Before buying, you can change the name, estimated amount, or details. Keep items you may buy later and delete them only when you no longer need them.

A Shopping List item is only a list entry. It affects balances, statistics, and Budget only after you complete the purchase and create a record.
