# Search, Filters, and Bulk Edit

## Search Records

1. Open **Home**.
2. Tap the current view name at the top right and choose **Search**.
3. Enter a keyword. For more precise results, set a date, book, account, category, tag, currency, or record type.
4. Tap a result to open the record details.

You can also tap amounts in statistics cards, Budget, and account details to open the records behind those amounts.

## Edit One Record

1. Tap a record row to open its details.
2. Tap **Edit** at the top right.
3. Change the amount, account, category, date, or other fields.
4. Saving recalculates the account balance and related statistics.

You can also swipe left in a record list to use the edit or delete actions available for that record.

## Bulk Edit

1. Tap **Bulk Edit** on the Search page.
2. Select the records to process.
3. Choose a field to change or choose bulk deletion.
4. Check the number of selected records and confirm.

Read-only records cannot be selected for editing. Records linked to Installments, Fixed Deposits, Savings, and other features follow the rules of their owning feature.

## Delete Records

Deleting a standard record also reverses its balance and statistics effects. Deleting a record linked to a plan may delete that plan and all of its related records. The confirmation page shows the actual deletion scope.

An action marked **This cannot be undone** cannot be recovered by archiving. Check all related content before confirming.
